Announcements for February 16-17, 2019

  1. On the bulletins this week are flyers for the upcoming Craft Night sponsored by the Catholic Women’s Club. We need your RSVP no later than THIS Sunday so that we can buy supplies, so please fill out form and attach payment and place in lock box.

  

  1. Please join us on Tuesday, February 19th at 6pm in the Church for our monthly Adoration and Benediction. Our special intention will be for those who have fallen away from the Church & to pray for Vocations.

 

  1. In order for us to continue our 3 & 4 year old Nursery during 10am Mass time, we need volunteers to facilitate. Please search your hearts and respond to Cathy Davidson or the Parish Office.  Thank you!

 

  1. Blest Art is set up and ready to show you their beautiful olivewood artwork. These make wonderful gifts for all occasions.  Please take 5 minutes to stop and consider buying, it can truly mean a huge difference between a Catholic family leaving or staying in the Holy Land.

Announcements for Feb. 9-10, 2019

 

  1. There will be a mandatory meeting this Sunday, Feb. 10th at 6pm for students and parents of those planning to attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in November. We will meet in the Youth Group Room.

 

  1. There will be a Youth Group gathering on Wednesday, February 13th at 7pm. This is open to all high school students and highly encouraged for those preparing for Confirmation.  Please come and join the fun and feel welcome to bring a friend!

Announcements for February 2-3, 2019

  1. If you would like to take home one of the Poinsettia’s feel free to do so. There are plastic bags to protect them in the gathering space.

 

  1. There are envelopes on the bulletin tables for you to participate in the Project Hope collection for the Diocese. This is a scholarship program dedicated to providing a Catholic education to children of families with need of financial assistance.

 

  1. When making your purchases thru Amazon are you giving credit to Assumption Church? Please see the bulletin how you can donate with every purchase.

 

  1. The application period begins February 1st for the EASE Fund. Please see Father’s bulletin piece for the guidelines regarding applicants for the EASE Fund. You can also download the guidelines and application off of our Church website.

  1. The application period begins February 1st for the EASE Fund. Please see the bulletin for the guidelines regarding applicants for the EASE Fund.

 

  1. Join us THIS Sunday @ 7pm as Joe Henkels will give a presentation on his pilgrimage experience to Medjugorje, Bosnia . Due to the wake service for Mary Chiri we ask that you enter through the either the gym doors or the School doors.  Thank you!

 

  1. Join the Knights of Columbus THIS Sunday after both Masses for a delicious Scrambled egg and biscuits and gravy breakfast. All proceeds will go towards Gigi’s Playhouse.  See the insert in the bulletin this weekend for more information.
